Why It Was Started

Banana Ball was created to make baseball more exciting and accessible to modern audiences. Team owners Jesse and Emily Cole wanted to address common complaints about traditional games being too slow or lacking energy. Their goal was simple: eliminate downtime, increase action, and make every moment entertaining for fans of all ages. By blending athletics with showmanship, the league has attracted sold-out crowds and a massive social media following.

When It Began

The Banana Ball Championship League format was first introduced in exhibition games around 2020, but the concept grew quickly in popularity. Unlike traditional leagues, Banana Ball teams don’t stay in one home stadium. Instead, they tour nationwide, playing in minor league parks, major league stadiums, and large football venues in dozens of cities each year.
